  • The 1632 Lujan inscription reads: "They (a Spanish expedition) passed on the 23rd of March of the year 1632 to the avenging of the death (by Zuni natives) of Father Latredo". Lt. J. H. Simpson left a message in 1849 and Richard H. Kern in 1851. El Morro National Monument, 1934.
