White Sands National Monument
George Grant photographed at White Sands in 1934, 1936 and 1940. During his 1934 visit he made photographs of two men that had been involved with Billy the Kid in the Lincoln County War in 1878. He also photographed the White Sands visitor center constructed by the CCC.
