Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

Established by President Jimmy Carter in 1978, the CRNRA encompasses more than 48 miles of the Chattahoochee River from Lake Lanier to metropolitan Atlanta. It is rich in recreational opportunities and the trails are featured in our books, Atlanta Walks and Best Hikes Atlanta
