Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve

We photographed at Craters of the Moon in 2017 during a trip to Utah, Wyoming and Idaho to give presentations about NPS photogrpapher George Grant. Enroute to Craters of the Moon we stopped to see the Idaho National Laboratory's Experimental Breeder Reactor 1 (EBR 1), the first functioning nuclear power reactor in the world. The nearby town of Arco, Idaho, was the first community worldwide to be powered by electricity from a nuclear power plant.
