North Dakota 2005
In July 2005, we spent ten days exploring North Dakota as we researched our planned guide to Civilian Conservation Corps(CCC)parks around the United States. The CCC parks we visited in North Dakota were: Turtle River State Park, the International Peace Garden (straddling the border of North Dakota and Manitoba), Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and Fort Abraham Lincoln State Historic Site. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found North Dakotans to be among the friendliest people we have ever met. Would we return? "You betcha!"
